TWO SUSPECTS SOUGHT IN SERIES OF BUSINESS BREAK-INS

Volusia County sheriff’s investigators are asking for the public’s help in locating two suspects in several burglaries to businesses in the DeBary and Orange City areas.

The wanted suspects – 21-year-old Darius Rashaad Brown (DOB 4/7/1995) and 22-year-old Anthony J. Mobley Jr. (DOB 5/20/1994), both of Orlando – are believed to be responsible for break-ins of at least five locations in the early-morning hours of Aug. 11. Brown and Mobley each have warrants out for their arrest.

The burglaries happened at:

  • Buzzard’s Roost Bar, 2955 Enterprise Road, Unit G, DeBary.
  • Goodfella’s Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant, 2955 Enterprise Road, Unit 105, DeBary.
  • Bad Boy Computers, 2434 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City.
  • The Pub And Grill, 2438 S. Volusia Ave., Orange City.
  • MDM Auto Sales, 2065 N. Volusia Ave., Orange City (Orange City PD case)

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 386-668-3830 or Crime Stoppers of Northeast Florida, toll-free, at (888) 277-TIPS. Tips also can be submitted by downloading the smartphone app from the Crime Stoppers web site (http://www.westopcrime.com/). Callers to Crime Stoppers will remain anonymous and can qualify for a reward of up to $5,000.
